Mtn. View High School student Christopher Wingert successfully capured the Chevelle Challenge trophy. He ran 12.75-106.16 against a redlighting Phil Ciancia (far side).

All the show `n shine winners gathered with the `55 Chevy of Rodell Hill, who took the Best of Show Sweepstakes plaque.

In a real first round nail biter, Jerry Hodges (pictured) ran 10.759 (10.76 dial)-120.87 against Joe Witherspoon. Witherspoon ran 12.359 (12.36 dial)-104.50 and took the nod by way of a better reaction time.

Defending Jr. Thunder track champ Alex Steen lost fire in the first round against Michael Jaggers, ending his day earlier.

Randy Williamson redlighted against Glen Phillips in round two after running a very quick 9.71 in round one of Pro.

The upper pit area had quite a number of outstanding rides in the show `n shine.

In Pro, Dana Drummond lost a squeeker against Andy Fischer in the opening round. She ran 10.545-125.48, breaking out by just .005 of a second.

Brian Raney runs this slick `71 Vega in the Pro class.

Brenden Anderson from Twin Falls continues to show improvement every week with his colorful Jr. Thunder digger.

One of many fine Camaro's that attended the Chevy Stars event.

Dan Krueger really has his Chevy II flyin'. He lost a good race with Stan Deming who ran right on his dial. Krueger finished at 9.48 (9.44 dial).

The husband and wife team of Jeff & Joyce Devey continue to be right in the hunt in Super Pro.

Alyson Clark hit a perfect .000 reaction in round one, but her Lightning ride ran a bit too quick against opponent Camille Shaffer.

Getting ready for the Oldies Drags, Andy Strunk lost early in the Chevelle/Nova class.
