Andy Crosby from Utah competed with his very swift 8-second Super Pro door car.	Spokane’s Jeff Evans qualified 13th in Top Gun-Open with his 7-second dragster.
This low 8-second `57 Chevy, one of 16 full-bodied qualifiers, is raced by Utah’s Bob Castagno.	Debbie New and John New (brother and sister-in-laws) were very popular characters with the kids
The two Hawker brothers from Utah put the front wheels skyward during time trials.	The “Ore-Ida-Wa” costume/pit scene effort went right off-the-charts again this year. This is the Wizard of Oz movie themed grouping, one of several movie “greats” in the pit area.
Valley Crankshaft owner Mike Hering competed with his A/Stick Camaro.	The pit scenes at this year’s Classic were nothing shy of spectacular.
One of four supercharged entries that came from Colorado this year, this Camaro loved to sky the front wheels on every pass.	Mark & Sharon Kidd really got into the decorations and trick or treating on Saturday night.
The Crosby’s have been really big Classic supporters over the years.	Idaho’s News Channel 7 “live” weather forecaster Larry Gebert interviewed twin sisters Anita and Annie with the Whiteley racing team early on Friday morning.
Edmonton’s Reg DeForest ripped off a career quickest 6.81 with his blown roadster during Top Gun eliminations on Saturday afternoon.	Saturday’s kids games were a big hit again this year.
Shane Molinari qualified seventh in Top Gun and was selected for event’s Best Appearing-Open Wheel ride.	Trick or treating went non-stop for a good part of Saturday evening.
Traveling all the way from the NHRA national event stop in Memphis one week earlier, Brad Plourd competed in both Super Pro and Heavy.	The Firebird track staff, including announcer Stevie “Popeye” Wong (front/center), got huge props from everyone in attendance.

Steve Pyburn put together a fantastic wheelstand in the Air Show with the all-steel Maverick co-raced by good friend Bill Muchow.	Fort Hall’s Carli Jimm not only put together a wonderful display (including a real deal Indian Tent) honoring her late-father Donny, but also donated some nice prizes to the Air Show.
The Lancaster family (Sharlene and Tessa) had a fun pit display, plus won a Costume award later on Saturday night.	Chad Demler (near side) and Ken Ratzloff pair up in this 7-second Top Gun matchup.
Winning one of three Pit Scene awards, this is Jan & Kristi Shawver’s “Team Firebird” Hot Wheels display.	Former Classic Grand Champion Bill Matern competed with his wheels-up Camaro.
