By unanimous decision, John “Dipstick” Floyd Sr., was the recipient of the “Funniest” Costume award.

Tim Shaw put together a fine wheelstand in the Air Show with his all-steel, big window Barracuda.

The Clarke family traveled over 1,200 miles to this year’s Classic (Long Distance award winner) and are joined by all the Canadians who made the trip to Idaho this year.

Charging to a career quickest at Firebird, Ken Tupper grabbed the Top Gun pole at 6.82 – 210 miles per hour with his shoebox turbo Ford.

Renee’ New presented this creative youngster with a Costume award plaque.

Steve Schoenfeld not only did his two hour Utah motorsport’s radio show from the track on Saturday morning, but also drove his “Sonny’s Toy, Too” Roadster.

This year’s kid’s costume contest was one of the best since the Classic started sixteen years ago.

The cool, crisp air produced an amazing number of wheelstands throughout time trials and eliminations.

Rod Page, owner of Boise Muffler, put his Super Pro `65 GTO way up during time trials.

One of the award winners for “Sexiest” is this rather demented couple following the Lil’ Bo Peep lost her sheep nursery rhyme.

Spokane’s Tom Clark competed in the Super Pro class with his refrigerator white Chevelle.

The Higgins family (which included four family members racing) went all out with their pit display this year.

Utah’s Justin Linares and veteran Bob Israelson pair up with their two 7-second rides during Top Gun qualifying.

Bob & Paul Comeau (who race a very cool `39 Chevy sedan) had a fun display and tons of candy for the kids during Saturday evening’s trick or treating bash.

One of the top contenders in the Wheelstanding show was Dennis Jorgensen with his impressive Vega.

Hayrides went non-stop throughout the afternoon on Saturday for both the kids and adults throughout the Firebird facility.
