Jamie DenBesten from Loveland, Colo., nearly flipped his blown Camaro over during Top Gun qualifying, as photographer Brian Losness portrayed.

Wrapping up their 42nd year in the drag racing business, this is Ellanor and Bill “Panhandler” New who will celebrate their 50th year of marriage next June.

John & Anna New are joined by their two kids, Connor and Colin.

Shanze Panunzio most certainly had his wheels up Vega, replete with devil horns, decked out for the Air Show.

They just don’t come any more adorable than these five girls just prior to the kid’s costume contest.

Ranked near the top of the Division 6 Stock eliminator point’s standings (2nd), Tommy Gaynor was put out by David Chun Jr. in round four in Pro.

Here’s a variety of mummy’s decked out during the kid’s games.

Talk about a strange sense of humor…this is the headless motorcycle rider display of Cody Cumpton.

This year’s kid’s games and costume contest was one of the largest to date.

Looking to run on the Tater Nation ticket (for president), this is the wheels up wagon of Jim Tattersall during the Saturday Air Show.

Hands down, the biggest applause in the kid’s costume party belonged to this very original “Scram” garbage can youngster.

Utah’s Panunzio family went all out with their pit decorations again this year. They were one of many award winners at this year’s Classic.

Tyler Rush, the 2009 High School track champion, competed on a Polaris drag sled in the Pro division.

The Petitt family just loves Halloween and their pickup was an award winner in the Best Decorated race car competition.

During Tuesday’s Parking Day, this goose was seen meandering down the quarter-mile. Must have been a sign this season was coming to a close.
Thanks again to everyone who attended this year’s Halloween Classic. If by chance we don’t see you at this year’s Banquet on November 21st, we do wish everyone the very best during the off-season and look forward to seeing you when the track opens for its 43rd season of NHRA Drag Racing in April of 2010.
