TIMELESS DEUCE SCORES GOLDMARK TITLE AT 40TH ROADSTER SHOW
The 40th Anniversary of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Boise Roadster Show helped
officially kickoff the calendar of motorsport’s event at Expo Idaho in early
March.
Presented by Les Schwab, the four-day Summit Show Car Series ISCA Championship
stop attracted an outstanding field of exhibitors from eight states and two
Canada provinces.
The 1932 Ford Roadster of Rich and Paige Udell, Swan Lake, Mont., scored the
Goldmark award, in addition to the overall Best Rod title. Painted a striking
mist green, the “Timeless” roadster was also the most recent winner of Wasatch
Cup at the Autorama in Salt Lake City, Utah, one week before the Boise show.
Dave Kindig from Salt Lake City, Utah, was selected for the 31st Master-Builder
honoree. Kindig has been participating at the Roadster Show for better than a
decade. At this year’s show, Kindig-It Design unveiled a stunning 1964 Cadillac
convertible of Olympic speed skating star Apolo Anton Ohno.
We hope you enjoy a small slice of the color and excitement (including a wide
variety of photographs) taken at this year's show. Although we would’ve liked to
display every car in this year’s photo spread, it’s almost impossible to make
that happen. We’re very grateful to the photographers for all their efforts.
Several of the images below are just about like a “work of art”.
Rick Cate, Troy Cross, Gary and Jessica Himes, Greg Johnson and members of the
Roadster Show staff get credit for each of the Roadster Show photos below. Bob
Minton with RJM Electronics also nailed a number of fine shots, check them out
at:

Usselman put together a creative video from this year’s swimsuit pageant at:

you wish to order any of these outstanding shots, be sure and drop us an email
and we’ll be glad to put you in touch (via email) with the appropriate
photographer.
