The YMC-backed Dragster of Aaron Marcum was the big winner of Super Pro on Sunday. Marcum defeated Dan Lafferty in the final by just .002 of a second.

Lisa Thomas and Steve Pyburn (far side) ran right on in the Pro eliminator final, but Thomas earned the starting line advantage and the overall victory at the 1320 stripe.

In Sportsman, Ashton “Stickers” Davis earned top honors.

Eastern Idaho was well represented in the Snow/Bike category. Craig Jensen (near side) defeated former NHRA national champion Rich Pedraza in the money dash.

Joseph Johnson had to beat both Marissa & Rayce Kidd en route to his second Jr. Lightning victory with his colorful red, flamed dragster.

Lindsey Drummond celebrated her 21st birthday at the Season Opener.

Michael Jaggers doubled up wins in the Jr. Dragster class defeating Charlina Lancaster both days.

Former Outlaw Street track champ Joseph Karnes finished the weekend with a perfect 10 – 0 win record.

The Street Truck final saw Richard Rush (crew chief for track champ Ed Cutler) defeat Lonnie Spicer, far lane, for his first win.

John Widner stopped first day winner Gerard Stanberry in the Street Bike final round.

In Nostalgia, Bruce Stewart overtook Lloyd Zenick with his colorful 10-second Camaro.

Driving Dad’s Chevelle, Sean Shaffer defeated Jason Thomas in the Second Chance-Box final.

Reigning Pro track champ Paul Nicolosi beat Mike Drummond (far side) in the No Box Gambler race.

Bret Davies was running 11.20’s all weekend with his very nice bowtie.

Street Bikes were out in force at their opening two point’s races of the new season.

It is sure great seeing T.K. Wagner returning to the Super Pro ranks.

Kristi Shawver ran well with her light blue Chevy pickup backed by Tim’s Auto Repair.

Byron Stewart (a new member to the Firebird staff) rides one of two Woody’s four-wheelers, which were added to the track equipment line during the off-season.

Veteran Brad Pattan returned to the competitive Super Pro ranks with his Ford Falcon.

This pickup earned the hard luck award after losing a wheel and axle during time trials.

Mary (pictured) and Ron Liese both competed at the Season Opener.

Gerard Stanberry left Firebird’s opening event in the top spot in the Street Bike point’s standings.

Sharlene Lancaster was randomly selected for one of two $250 cash gas cards, which can be used at any Stinker Store.

Clayton and Alex Steen, along with Amanda Luckow were checking out the first round ladders prior to Sunday’s eliminations.
