In the best Unlimited Street race of the night, Jeff best brother Kevin Young in a wheels-up 8.73 to a 8.81 dual. Kevin nailed the event's top speed at 164.23 to lead all the 100 MPH qualifiers (listed within the website).

School teacher John Lindsey ran 10.58, 10.44, and 10.49 to win the 10.50 index eliminator.

Gearing up for the NHRDA Diesel Truck point's race on July 7th, Jim Calhoun, Kent, Wash., won two rounds in Pro before bowing out against Jeffrey Langan in round 3.

Paul Nicolosi looked like he might win the Pro class after an 11.00 (11.00 dial), 11.02 (11.01), 10.96 (10.95), and 10.90 (10.89) in the quarters. An untimely redlit cost him a shot at the title bout, which sent Jeffrey Langan to the final to take on good friend and mentor Larry Hale (who won).

Larry Lamberson lasted until the third round, losing to Judy Radford. She ran 8.84 (8.83 dial) against a too quick 10.75 (10.77) by the `91 Camaro.

Glen Phillips tried running three different classes, losing the first round of both Pro and Trophy, plus he missed the 12.65 bump in the 12.50 index class with a best of 12.73 (qualifying in 13th).

Like rocket ships, a pair of Street Bike Quick 8 racers power out of the starting gate.
