point's race on July 7th, Jim Calhoun, Kent, Wash., won two rounds in
Pro before bowing out against Jeffrey Langan in round 3. |

Paul Nicolosi looked like he might win
the Pro class after an 11.00 (11.00 dial), 11.02 (11.01), 10.96
(10.95), and 10.90 (10.89) in the quarters. An untimely redlit cost
him a shot at the title bout, which sent Jeffrey Langan to the final
to take on good friend and mentor Larry Hale (who won).
