Update: Thursday of the Summit Northwest Team Finals
Nineteen tracks arrive for Summit E.T.
Finals
Parking kicked off on Wednesday for the five-day marathon, better known
as the Summit E.T. Finals. Hundreds of racers have converged onto the
Firebird facility from five states and three Canadian provinces. Day one
saw nearly 400 race teams parked, making it one of the busiest mid-week
parking days in track history.
Many, many more racers rolled into day two, as Thursday offered a full
afternoon of test `n tune runs and non-stop tech inspections from the
moment the gates opened until the day came to a close.
Several outstanding
runs were posted during the afternoon in everything from Super Pro thru
Junior Dragster. We selected a handful of images to help wet your
appetite from the day's activities. We'll hope to have more as the
weekend progresses under beautiful sun filled skies.
