MTN. VIEW AND MIDDLETON HIGH TAKE EARLY PREP POINTS LEAD

A tremendous field of racers participated at the United Dairymen Spring High School Nationals presented by the U.S. Army. Leading the charge, both Mtn. View and Middleton High took the point’s lead after the first stop in the six-race series.

The two reigning NHRA Division 6 champions started their title defense off in fine style. First, Courtney Alley with Eagle High won the High School Bracket #1 class title, helping to put the Mustang team in second place (to Mtn. View) in the “AAA” standings. Equally successful, Aaron McCoy swept thru the Sport Compact category with his familiar blue `04 Neon that was the big winner at the Summit E.T. Finals last September.

Thanks to everyone for supporting the Spring Championships. Not only was it a day filled with non-stop racing, but this year’s Team Games and Ugly Car Contest was one of the best to date.
