PHILLIPS, HILLS & STEWART GATHER UP STAFF TITLES

For nearly two decades, track officials and staff of the raceway take one opportunity every Fall to go drag racing. We’re not talking about Gold Cup racing, but more like the actual staff members competing in head-to-head bracket racing down the quarter-mile, quite often behind the wheel of their daily drivers.

In a complete reversal of roles, a number of racers are invited to come out and volunteer as track officials. Special thanks are extended to everyone that helped run the race, while all the Firebird staff got an opportunity to go racing. We especially want to pass our appreciation to Scott Downard, Gary Krueger, Ashton Davis, Lisa Thomas, Scott & Linda Rowland, Mary Jaggers, Gina Luckow, announcing nutcases Dann Luckow & Gary Resinkin and Derric Barr, who worked as event director (and any others we may have overlooked).
