WEDNESDAY: VALLEY VETTES EARNS TRAILER AT NAPA HALLOWEEN CLASSIC IN CLUB RUNOFF ON OPENING NIGHT

Ed Wong, racing for the Valley Vettes, scored the Club Grand Championship at the NAPA Halloween Classic XIX. Wong ran 12.64 on a 12.66 dial at 111.41 miles per hour to defeat Bret Ward with PSI Racing. Wong won a new trailer from Firebird Raceway after beating a field that included nearly 150 racers on the opening day of racing.

Gates open Thursday through Sunday at 9 am with racing continuing throughout each of the four remaining days of the event. Adult admission Thursday thru Sunday is $15, Kids 6-12 are $5 daily and 5 & under are free.
