BEST OF DETROIT POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, SEPT. 30TH AT FIREBIRD

Following a day of wet weather, the Kidd Performance & Dyno Best of Detroit special event has been postponed to Sunday, September 30, 2013. The opening round of racing was partially completed in the Chevy Cup before heavy rain halted action. Amazingly enough, the storm system produced the first rainfall since July 17th in the greater Treasure Valley.

Gates will open at 9 am on 9/30 and eliminations will resume at 11:30 am.

Racing will resume in the Chevy Cup, along with the opening round of the Ford Cup, Mopar Cup and Buick-Olds-Pontiac categories. The ladders are locked and set for both Junior Dragster and Street Bike classes. All fields are set for eliminations. Tickets (pit passes) purchased for Best of Detriot will be honored at the postponed event on Sunday.
