It doesn't seem all that long ago that we started the Blast from the Past section, but go back and count `em up and you'll see that we've featured 118 different shots over a span of better than three decades. This week's photo travels back some 15 years. And for any of you from the eastern Idaho region, you'll quickly recognize the guy pictured second from right as Rick Kent from American Falls. Of course, Rick first started racing at Firebird the year the track opened in 1968 and has campaigned quite a variety of Mopars over the years. And if memory serves, I think this is a show `n shine photo down on the starting line, which included both Brad New (right) and chief starter Joel Eggers (second from left). My, how time flies by.
