Here's a classic image from over fifteen years ago of former track champion John Shaffer. Originally starting in the Pro class, Shaffer was one tough competitor. Today, he runs his Chevelle with a dial-in in the 9's (vs. the 13.10 he shows on the window in this photo). A past winner of the Oldies Drags, don't be surprised if the Shaffer crew not only rolls out John's trusty blue Chevelle to run the silver anniversary nostalgia race, but also Sean's refrigerator white 12-second Chevelle, too.
