Nearly twenty years ago, one of the first
nitrous Pro Modifieds to venture out to the west was Georgia's Gordy Foust.
He made the journey with North Carolina's Charles Carpenter to compete
against the likes of John Scialpi, Wayne Torkelson and others in early years
of the West Coast Pro Modified Association. The blown and nitrous
doorslammers will return this coming August 10th-13th at the 35th
Anniversary Pepsi Nightfire Nationals.
