Here's a photo of the late great "Jungle Jim" Lieberman during a mid-70's Nightfire 500 event. Although a bit smoky, it still reflects the man that made the words "Drag Racing is Far Out!" famous during the motion picture Funny Car Summer. In our book, he was unquestionably one of the all-time great showmen that this sport has ever witnessed. His AA/Funny Car appeared twice at the Nightfire, once with "Jungle" behind the wheel and the second time with Frank Hall doing the driving.
