With Rocky Church flipping the starting button in the late 70's, this rather dark and eerie night-time shot is of "240 Gordie" Bonin with his Pacemaker - Bubble Up Trans Am against the Leo's Stereo Corvette of John "Brute" Force. Although this image is a bit thin on the color side of things, the night-time feel really jumps out of the photo at either the 7th or 8th Annual Nightfire 500 event. Word on the street has it that the Bonin (and we believe Gordon Jenner) AA/Funny Car is being refabricated and will be making an appearance this season in the nostalgia nitro ranks. Now wouldn't that be cool!
