Easily one of the most famous AA/Fuel Altereds from the eastern side of the country is the famed "Drastic Plastic" of Tom Motry. Reigning from Chicago, Motry has previously competed at the Pepsi Nightfire Nationals on two occasions, including his last visit nearly half a dozen years ago. Motry will return in 2007 with past IHRA Top Fuel ace Tim Cullen behind the wheel. The Drastic Plastic just tested at Route 66 in Chicago and numbers in the 5.60's gave them the confidence to make the long distance trip to Firebird on August 9-12. Watch out for these guys at the Nightfire, they will definitely be bonidide contenders for the Western States Fuel Altered National title.
