One of the all-time most successful Alcohol
Funny Car racers at the Nightfire was Chuck Beal. He was almost unbeatable
in the 80's, sweeping three consective Firebird mid-August victories in a
row. At one Nightfire, Beal toppled a record field of 24 Alcohol Funny
Cars that qualified for a 16-car field. In this early photo, Beal is
