Here's a shot from the `91 Nightfire
of one of the Kings of Pro Modified racing - North Carolina's
Charles Carpenter. Carpenter is a former Nightfire champion. He is
pictured here racing alongside of Gordie Foust who raced out of the
deep south. Carpenter recently finished runner-up to Kentucky's
Billy Harper at the ADRL national event in Radford, VA. Harper will
be making the cross country trek with team-mate Dennis Radford to
this year's Nightfire. The two top-flight nitrous rides are
currently ranked #1 and #2 in the national point's standings.
