There's quite a history behind the Halloween Classic. Spanning 15 years in 2008, the Classic has seen quite a variety of racers win the Classic Grand Championship-the four-way runoff at the conclusion of the event. Four have won in Pro. Seven in Super Pro and three from Sportsman (including Jim Kaminski with his Mustang last October). Winning Classic V (1998) was Dan Lafferty at the wheel of his 7-second split-window Corvette. This picture actually comes from a year or two earlier during the Air Firebird Wheelstanding Show. It's kind of fun looking back to those early years.
