Back in the day, Kim Mason was one of the crowd favorites anytime he'd venture out of Twin Falls to Firebird to run his bright yellow `40 Willys coupe. He still owns the fat-fendered gasser today, but it's all been redone in gloss black paint and has more of a street-appeal to it. But you never know, one of these days we might find Kim putting the Willys back on the track. One of the best pure drivers during his time, Kim could shift through the gears, many times with the wheels several feet off the ground on it's way to a 10-second pass. This past season he and the family have made many trips to Firebird competing in the Junior Dragster division. We wouldn't doubt the Mason crew will be returning for more action in 2008 in the Junior ranks (and hopefully one day with their bad boy Willys coupe, too).
