Taken in 1994, this is the Dodge Dart of Dan
Sells. He not only raced in the High School Championships for a couple of
years, but also in Pro eliminator with his 12-second ride. He and his
Dad also built a big window Cuda that ran very stout and a car he still has
to this day. One of these days we're hoping to see his Cuda hit the Firebird
quarter-mile again. Today, Dan's sister, Brandi Shoemaker, works in both the
Control Tower and in the Sport Shop at a variety of events each season. Next
time you see Brandi you'll have to tell her to encourage her brother to try
and make it out sometime in the near future. Can't let that Cuda sit in the
garage indefinitely for goodness sake!
