We thought it was good timing to start building the
excitement and interest for this year's Summit E.T. Finals
at Mission Raceway Park in B.C., Canada. Our last trip to
Mission was a very good one. First off, Rich Pedraza won the
Snow/Bike class for Team Firebird and then used it as a
springboard to head to Pomona and capture Idaho's first and only
NHRA national title during the World Finals. As most will
recount, it was a terrific trip. Hands down, you will not race
at a faster track than Mission in North America. It sits at sea
level just off the Frasier River. Start making your plans (and
get your passports in order) for the trip to Mission on Sept.
3rd-5th. We plan to take the best 56 racers from Firebird to try
and win our third straight Division 6 track championship. Next
time you're at the track, please stop by the Sport Shop and let
us know of your intentions (and get your name on the Team
Firebird list) to travel to Canada this Labor Day weekend. We
are already locking in racers for this year's Team Finals. Hope
you plan to join us as we go "Revin' for Seven" in 2010!
