As most would likely agree, today's genre of street bike racers are typically on the younger side of the age scale. But not Brian Batten. He lists his age somewhere on the northside of 60, but he acts and races like he's still in his mid-20's (compliment intended!). Competing amongst a sea of riders in Firebird's highly-popular Street Bike fraternity, Batten is one of the senior members of the racing community and certainly the oldest rider amongst the motorcycle crowd. Having first raced at Firebird almost four decades ago, it's very cool seeing him a part of today's action. Having topped 150 mph in the high-9's, his bike is no slouch either.
