A veteran of the Bracketeers for several decades now, this is Utah's Gordon Turner who was selected for Bracketeer Allstar back in 1999. This image, above, dates back to the mid-80's when Turner ran this hard chargin' Roadster. He won the plaque for Quickest Roadster at the Nightfire back when Firebird was briefly under the sanctioning auspices of the American Drag Racing Assn. For 2010, Turner (below) put together a number of outstanding runs including a 7.85-170.61 and a 7.86-170.84 to defeat Ray Shearer in the four-way runoff final for the Allstar Dash for Cash, picking up a cool $1,000 during the Key Bank Saturday Night Thunder.
