It’s fun getting photos supplied to us from time-to-time from a variety of racers and enthusiasts, especially those that we have never seen previously. Circa 1970, here’s a pair of race cars competing in front of a good-sized crowd during the month of April. What stands out in this photograph is all the fresh dirt on both sides of the race track, a number of spectator cars parked with no rhyme to reason, and people sitting all over the east-side of the track. This photo features a race between Ralph Malerich (Camaro) and Ron Needs (Ford). One thing for certain, things most definitely looked a whole lot different in those early years.
