“Gentleman Hank” Johnson raced at Firebird in AA/Fuel Dragster, AA/Funny Car and BB/ (Top Alcohol) Funny Car over a span of two-plus decades. Dating back to the 1980’s, this is the Mr. Auto Supply Trans Am based out of Marysville, Wash., competing at one of the Ignitor-World Championship Series events. Johnson, who along with his former crew chief Jess Jones, was inducted into the Division 6 Hall of Fame in January of 2013.
