Check out this early photo of both Don Owen and Van Graves awaiting their turn in the Firebird staging lanes. The Dodge coupe first started racing at Firebird in the mid to late 70's and it's a car that Don still owns today. Graves, with his "Digit" `55 Chevy raced for a few years at Firebird before moving into oval racing with a winged sprinter.
