Over the years, a number of wheelstanders have performed at Firebird, including the Half Breed Pickup shown here. At this particular event in what may have been `80, `81 or `82 (or maybe even the late 70's) the Half Breed Econoline took on a Vega Wagon with a rear-mounted engine in a side-by-side exhibition at an early Nightfire 500 event.
