Circa 1978, here is the former NHRA Funny Car World Champ Raymond Beadle being interviewed at the Nightfire 500 by famed mikster Richard Schroeder (right). Beadle was not only a terror on the drag racing circuit, but sold more shirts `n hats than just about any other driver on tour. In our humble opinion, it's just plain too bad the "Blue Max" name couldn't be resurrected (or purchased), put on the side of a Fuel Altered or Fuel Dragster and run the Nightfire again one day down the road. Boy, wouldn't that be cool...guess you might call it food for thought. Any takers?
