Taking a step back in Idaho racing, here's a shot from an early Gem State Series event at what was once known as Intermountain Raceway. Dan Gluch (near side) lines his "Intoxication" Camaro up along side of the Rod Page GTO with sister-in-law Steph Murkle at the wheel. The cross-state rivalry was very intense for a number of years as one race was staged on the eastern side of the state and another at Firebird. Unfortunately the series came to an end when the strip just this side of Pocatello sadly closed several years ago.
