UNITED DAIRYMEN/CWI HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Since 1976, the six-race United Dairymen of Idaho High School Series presented by the College of Western Idaho has been a staple on the Firebird Drag Racing Calendar. Hundreds of students and a multitude of schools annually compete in the point’s championship, along with categories offered in Alumni, Outlaw Street, Sport Compact, Street Bike, Super Shifter and Street Truck.

In addition, the Spring event features all kinds of games and activities. Highlights include the tug-o-war, got milk human pyramid, ice cream eating contest, water bucket brigade, hot dog eating competition, and the famed Ugly Car Contest. The Meadow Gold Junior Series is also contested at both the Spring and Fall meets.

Races take place throughout the course of the racing season on four Friday nights and conclude on Sunday, September 9th, during the Fall Championships.

We hope you enjoy an assortment of fun photography from the High School Series, which is presented on behalf of Gary & Jessica Himes, Alex Charlton and the Firebird Staff.
