The assortment of photographs from this year's Pepsi Nightfire is nothing shy of sensational. No kiddin', the guys and gals who braved the heat and all the other elements mother nature tosses our way every August truly nailed some exceptional images.The next set of shots come by way of both Mark Hovsepian and Dawn Mazi-Hovsepian. They flew all the way in from their home base in New Hampshire and delivered quite a number of outstanding photographs. Firebird's upper pro pit area attracted a steady stream of race fans.
Butch Blair earned his second Nightfire title. His first came as a driver in 2001. This year Butch earned honors as a car owner with Howard Haight behind the wheel.

Sunday's Pro Modified final saw Trevor Lowe score his first Nightfire title defeating the three-time winner Dennis Radford (near lane).
Larry Hale won both Saturday and Sunday in Pro, in addition to scoring the 4-Day Point's Championship by a mere 1 point!
Debuting a brand new paint scheme, Dan Horan nailed top speed of the meet in AA/Funny Car at 230.17.
The Jet Funny Cars of the "Warhawk" and "Nitehawk" put on an outstanding show nightly at the close of the event.
The oldest bracket tournament in America, the famed Bracketeers packed the Firebird pit area with race cars from all over the western United States and Canada.
Kentucky's Billy Harper missed making the tough 8-car West Coast Pro Mod field with his nitrous Viper.
Defending champ Brad Thompson displayed his Top Fueler at Larry Miller Sundance Dodge leading up to the event.
The Autograph Session is one of the hits of the Key Bank Saturday Night Thunder. Hundreds of fans took advantage the popular activity in the heart of the Pro Pits.
Dave Hix did not have the best of weekends. As the defending champ he had his steering wheel shaft break following his burnout during round one, ending his hopes of repeating in `07.
Trevor Lowe enjoyed his finest Firebird outing, winning Pro Modified over a tough field of 14 racers.
