The 27th edition of the Snap On Oldies But Goodies Drags proved to be one of the hottest event's in the nearly three decade existance of the race. Presented by Kenny's Rod Shop, temperatures climbed into the upper 90's on Saturday followed up by even warmer conditions on Sunday when the themometer topped out at 102 in the shade! The event still attracted a strong field of racers and many, many fine rides parked in the show `n shine area of the upper pits. Thanks go out to everyone who supported the weekend. In addition, we'd like to convey our appreciation to the entire dealer network of Snap On Tools, Kenny Welch and family at Kenny's Rod Shop and Kevin Spangler at Spangler Bros. Auto Body for helping us bring the nostalgia drags to Firebird each year.
