32ND ANNUAL SNAP ON OLDIES BUT GOODIES DRAGS
The Snap On Oldies Drags enjoyed downright splendid weather on both Saturday
and Sunday. Temperatures climbed into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s during the
32nd edition of the nostalgia drag racing weekend. The turnout of race cars and
show entries was quite impressive in both the upper and lower pit areas.
Competitors attended the event from six states and Canada.

Special thanks to Rick Hale with the Baron’s car club, who helped promote the
event throughout the community. Hale contributed to quite an assortment of club
members attending the Oldies weekend, which was quite a site watching them all

pro pits. Thanks also to host clubs: Melba Outlaws, Heap Herders and Vintage
Gems for supporting the Oldies event over the years.
In addition, we’d like to pass along our appreciation to the Eagle 96.9FM. They
kicked things into overdrive in the week leading up to the event and you
couldn’t go anywhere without hearing about the Oldies weekend throughout the
Treasure Valley on their powerful classic rock station.
We hope you enjoy a quick glimpse of the color and excitement from this year’s
