TEST
AND NIGHT FEVER ON SATURDAY
Two
events in one day will take place this Saturday as Testing will open the day and
the first Larry Miller Subaru Night Fever will close the evening at Firebird. If
you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to run the wheels of your car or bike,
this is the time to take advantage of tons of the quarter-mile strip on
Saturday, May 10th. Better yet, this Saturday (both during the day and the
evening) will offer the first 100 mph day for decals and qualifying. And in case
you hadn’t heard—the new decals are absolutely bitchin’. Runner-up at last
weekend’s Quick Import race, the sport compact ride of Mark Streeter (above)
ripped off a huge 125 mph plus lap last weekend in this cool photo by Chris Wold.
Gates open at 10 am for the Test `n Tune Session (open to anyone that would like
to participate) followed by test runs from 11 am until 4 pm. Gates will then
swing open for the big night of Grudge Racing, which goes from 5 pm until 9 pm.
Each event is separate from the other, so if you’d like to run one, you’ll
pay for one, if you’d like to do both, then you’ll be responsible for paying
for both.
The test fee is $25, while an adult crew pass is $11 during the day. During the
Saturday evening program, it’s $20 to grudge race, while the adult admission
is $8.
See you Saturday at the Drags!
